This is a technicality, but AFAIK Darwin Award can only be awarded if the person is of legal age, i.e. he can think for himself. This was a child who clearly was too young to make a rational decision.

Seriously though, poor crocs indeed. I wouldn't take that abuse without lashing out, less any wild animal. 🙁

Really, why is all the blame on the crocs? That's a bit much.. I'm not saying it was okay that a child was eaten by a croc, but what about the parents? How about the police hold their parents for questioning and figure out why the hell they let their kids roam around? Especially if they knew the area contained crocs?
