Kids In Restaraunts

Nebor

Lifer
I hate kids in restaraunts. They scream, they yell, they make a mess, they're a big hassle to the staff and us customers. Alright, in truth, I don't like kids at all, restaraunt or not... But anyways, did you know it's against the law to disallow kids? It's such crap. If an adult acted like a child in a restaraunt, you could throw them out, or have them arrested. But because they're young, kids can run amok.

I wish there was a restaraunt that didn't have kids menus. That's all they'd really have to do, and I'm pretty sure it would be legal. Just don't offer kids menus, so if people want to bring their hellions to the restaraunt, they can pay full price for the food, and don't expect that food to be "chicken fingers and fries!"

Either that, or just hire 1 stripper for every restaraunt. They just walk around half naked, then no kids can come in... That'd be legal too, I think. Strip joint = no kids.

Have to agree with you there Nebor...they are a damn nuisance....anyway....I don't really like kids.

I love the way people use "he/she's only a kid" as an excuse for almost everything that they do....we live in a day and age were kids less than 10 have killed....I think they need to bring down the age that younger people are held fully accountable.

But as for the less important issues such as the restaurant thing....maybe they need to section them off like they do with smokers.....it's just a different form of pollution!

Its kind of a fact of life, I don't think kids will be going away any time in the future. Maybe you should write the president and see if he will push for a "no kids day" at Wienerschnitzel in your state.

So work at a different restaurant that caters to a different crowd or do something else that isn't 'frontline service' oriented. Be the cook, etc. Or open your own Restaurant that doesn't have a Kids menu and caters to 'adults'. From the posts here (previous and current), it appears such a place may have enough of a niche 'we hate kids' market to be successful... if you have the right combination of skills and luck.
