I put up my ad on Craigslist to sell a new iphone 4 and a guy replied to my email 5 minutes later. One day later we talked on the phone. He sounded like a twelve-year old boy. So I asked him if he was old enough to get so much money and he said his father was going to bring the money and picked up the phone.
During the conversation he kept to let me hold on and asked his "father" for decisions. I wondered why his father wouldn't take the call. Anyway when we finally agreed on the price, I told him to pick up in my office building where there were security cameras and guards. Then the kid said he would get back to me in half hour.
A few minutes later he sent email to me with some spelling errors. He said his father felt it's not "comvertable" to buy from a guy in the city, so could I meet them in Time Square or ship it to them?
I replied that your father felt not comfortable in a place with security cameras? Tell your father to buy from Bestbuy instead and there are many things in life are better than iphone.
No more emails from them.
