kids candy selection *bastards!*

When I was a kid we had really cool candy, lots of great stuff I don't see any more. But, I work at a liquor store and I'm blown away at the varations of candies I remember as a kid. when I was a kid we had "Reeses Peanut Butter Cups" the store I work at has FIVE kinds of Reeses, and I've seen a few others that we don't carry. We carry Butterfinger Crisps, and about 5 types of M&M's. I'm 30 and wonder why companies didn't give my generation so many candy options. As I sit here and eat this Reeses Inside out (Peanut Butter on the outside) I sigh. Kids have it good today.

you work at a liquor store but get all warm and fuzzy over candy? 😕

 
oh man, especially with the Sour Skittles.. i'd have no teeth if i grew up with these. seen/heard of those new Smoothie Skittles? i'm not a fan of them.. kinda like eating Skittles with cream/milk or something.
 
Increased flavors are just more marketing to stuff the kids' fat little guts. I assume that it's also a lot cheaper now for companies to build more factories because of the increasing scale.
 
we have a lot of candy at the liquor store, I don't eat much candy, but working here I see everything we sell. So I come across a lot of stuff I wouldn't see if I didn't work here.

Astro pops, Fizz, Lick-em-Aid, Freezies, Popeye cigs, Jawbreakers.. just some that I can remember. mmmmm. ATOT has a lot of food talk tonight. mmmmmmmm

we got those in for the first time 3 days ago, I wanted to try them, but then I noticed every flavor has "berry" I can't stand berry anything 🙂

and to who said I get warm n fuzzy over candy, nah that'd be Newcastle 🙂

just amazed how kids can snack on a million things... but they don't have Now-N-Laters like we did. Retro is in they should bring back them back
