Kids' brains

Seriously- I work in a Emergency Room, and in the past month I've taken the weirdest stuff out of kid's noses, ears, etc. For example, food, beads, bugs, glue, ball bearings, Play-Doh, matches. Just for 10 minutes, I would love to be in these kids' brains when they decide that whatever they're holding needs to be up their nose. 🙂

Pretty little white agate went into my daughter's nose one time. We just barely managed to get it out ourselves and avoided a trip to the doctor's office.

I was a victim of a coffee bean in my nose. I sniffed it a little too hard and it shot up my nose.

But I shot it out of the nostril myself. No need for a doctors visit.

ever see a kid with a bean that had actually sprouted and had roots in their nose? i have heard of that happening and the nose has the right warm and moist conditions for it.
