Kids are weird

My 5 year old never fails to amaze me. She says the strangest damn things. Just now, she said, "Mom, the inside of my nose is cold." She then put her finger in to demonstrate how she knows that.

*shakes head*

Anyone else with weird kids around here?

this is true

i worked with a group of first graders for a year.... you would not believe the weird stuff that comes out of their mouths. constant entertainment!

ask her if she's digging for cold or if she's scratching her brain. That's what I ask my kid's when I find them with their fingers up their nose.

digging for gold in all the wrong places, looking for gold in too many places, searchin for gold....

Art Linkletter show anyone?
Kids say the darn'dest things.

I was telling a story to my 4-year old granddaughter. She was gazing up at me with what I thought was complete adoration. Finally she said," Grammy, when I grow up will I have hair in my nose like you?"

My Grandson returned from his first day of kindergarten obviously very disappointed. He was so excited to be going that it seemed strange that he would take such a turn. After a few moments of questioning, we learned that he was very upset because he expected to be planting and growing things but at his "kinderGARDEN, there was no "GARDEN" at all!

Not a father yet...

Babysit a friend of mine's child all the time 🙂

My two-year old son picked up "You kill me!" from somewhere. Now whenever I tell him to do something that he doesn't want to do it's, "You kill me, Daddy!"

When she was about 2 or 3, she somehow got it in her head that bras were called "nipples." On more than one occasion, she yelled at the top of her lungs, "LOOK AT ALL THESE NIPPLES!!!" when we were walking by the bra section at the store.
