One of my favourite films from last year was funded by KickStarter. Unfortunately no distribution for it yet, so I can't even buy a DVD to re-watch it.

Except that Kickstarter's policy is to disallow funding of large corps who have their own means to do things. Watch the video.

Do you realize how many LITTLE companies most big corps own?

There is NOTHING preventing them from doing this or having one of their employees do so.
