Yeah, I think they would be more of the kick-ass variety.

I'm not saying the ones the OP is talking about are bad, but kick ass is not what comes to mind. Some of Heart's stuff, and Zombie by the Cranberries would be more kickass. Hell, Alanis Morissette, even maybe one or two Sheryl Crow songs would be more kickass. That's to say nothing of much heavier stuff.
