Kick-Ass is my favorite movie of all time. It probably shouldn't be, but it is (well, tied with Iron Man anyway).

I'm hoping it turns out to be at least almost as good as the first.

Is there going to be a new "girl" this one is all grown up now. It will change the whole dynamic of it.

That doesn't worry me as much as the fact that Nicolas Cage's character in the first one ("Big Daddy") died. Granted, I'm not normally a Cage fan, but I like his fake Batman persona more than the actual Batman.

It doesn't matter much to be that Chloe Grace Moretz ("Hit Girl") is older - on second thought, it's probably better that way. Her character should be even more kick-assier :D

The graphic novel is already finished. They are now putting out a "Hit Girl" graphic novel taking place between Kick-Ass 1 and 2. I didn't think the story line of Kick-Ass 2 was as well put together as the first. They tried to be more extreme and push the envelope further but overall it didn't have the impact the first one did. Not to say I wasn't waiting on each new book but I remember the first one more fondly than the second.

Yeah, it's not as though she is THAT grown up. I really liked her on 30 Rock this season.

The first one was a pleasant surprise, but I can't imagine a sequel being anywhere near as good or surprising.

The comic book was better. The dad's demise is different in the comic.

Here's to hoping it lives up to the first one. I really liked the first one.

First one really turned me off with the previews. It was just marketed all wrong. But I really was entertained with the full movie.
