Kia Spectra5

The new Spectras are the best looking Kia's I've ever seen. However, size-wise, they still *look* smaller (I dunno if they actually are smaller) than a Civic or Corolla.

Notice how the car is debadged in the C&D review picture? That's probably the first thing I'd do if I ever bought a Kia; make people think it's worth more than it actually is.

According to the Car and Driver article the Spectra5 has 138hp and drives pretty well. I was looking for something like the Matrix but was dissapointed with its underpowered engine.

This one is in the same price-range and offers 100k/10yr warranty.

If it's as good as Car and Driver say it might be my next car.

I think hands down the Sorento is.

BTW me owns a Sorento, and I must say if you had told me 2 years ago that I would be running around telling people that I love my Kia I would of said your Krazy,, but I now run around telling people that.

you can get a slightly used/demo matrix XRS for $16k easily.

$16k is a terrible price. for less money you can get the elentra GT (with leather seats), a mazda3, or just about anything that is more reputable than a kia...

I can't imagine ever buying a Kia. The JD Power survey is only worth so much, especially with new brands like the Korean ones.

Elantra is more likely than a XRS. I won't drive a stick because I have a bad back.
