Anyone hear any info or have personal experience with this media. i have a nec 2500a and was wondering if itll backup my dvds fine. I usually buy riteks but i have 15 bucks in store credit and since they are on sale i was thinking about giving them a shot.

I got a 10-pack of the Khypermedia DVD+R media last weekend for use in my Lite-on burner. I've only burnt a few so far, but they burn fine at 2.4x and play correctly in my computer DVD player and my standalone player.

I'm a little concerned about the durability, though. For really important data, I'm probably going to stick with brand name media like Memorex, Ritek, etc.

Got those when they were on sale at Omax. Just burn them at the rated speed (2.4X) and it should be OK. Used a Sony DRU500A with these DVD-R. Upgraded to a LiteOn 815S since then.
