KG7: why the nVidia logo during POST?

Just installed my KG7 mobo.....during POST, where I'm accustomed to an 'Energy Star' logo, there's an nVidia logo. Why for? AFAIK, there are no nVidia chips on the mobo.

Yes, but I'm not talking about the video bios screen. It's the mobo bios screen. Further, I originally booted with an ATI card, and the bios displayed the nVidia logo.

Is the KG7 an nForce board?

Is it a used board? If so, the BIOS may have been flashed with one of these Custom EPA BIOS I use one myself on my KG7-R.

It is a used board. I dunno about the custom bios....but flashing to the 9M Abit bios set it back to the energy star logo.
