KG7 Question?

I am planning on getting a KG7-RAID motherboard as soon as they come out, basically for the added DIMM slots (4 Total). I was looking on the web and saw that www.pcprogress.com had them for pre order, but in the description it said that if you use more than 2 DIMM slots you must use Registered memory. I was planning on buying 1GB (4x256) of PC2100 because of the cheap price tag, but I don't want to have to buy ECC RAM. Does anyone know if this is correct or not? Thanks.

Yes, it is correct. If you are going to use the other 2 DIMM slots, you'll need *registered* RAM. This is true of other boards which have > 2 DDR slots as well. It has to do with the signal noise, etc.
