KG7 Beeping...HELP!!

I'm putting together a system for a friend (Abit KG7, 1.4 T-bird, GF3, 256mb generic ram, SB Audigy, generic case & PS).
I currently haven't installed a floppy.
When I power it on, all I get is a beep every couple of seconds. No display. Light on monitor is in standby mode.
All the fans are working (including the video).
Ideas? Suggestions?

I tried the ram in another machine i'm putting together from parts I upgraded from (Shuttle mb, ATI video) & the Shuttle began beeping as well.
Is it the memory?
