KFC Ultimate Bowls

I'm eating it right now for the first time, just saw the commercial last night. It's good stuff. It's kind of like the taco bell bowls in size, but it has mashed potatoes, corn, chicken, beens, chicken, and gravy.

i'm loving it 🙂

it's okay. i still like their snackers.

yah I have one of those for after the bowl. but i dunno, this bowl is pretty filling. i thought it would be like the taco bell one (full wise) which I would always eat w/a taco.

I had one a few weeks ago....not too bad if you're really hungry, otherwise I think I enjoy eating all the things in the bowl separately. There are beans in it like a taco cabana bowl?

First of all, it's "beans", not "beens"...second, there are no beans in the bowl, unless you specifically asked for some...third, this is a repost, fourth, they are damn good bowls, except for the cheese., i could do without the cheese.

They look disgusting to me. Probably because I don't like mashed potatoes and assumed they would skimp on the corn and chicken.

When I first saw that commercial I thought it was a joke.

A really nasty, nasty joke.

But alas, it was all real. Those things sound disgusting...

i didn't ask for anything specific, and yes, it had beans in the bowl. green beans.

Seems bad even to me, and I'm no stranger to fast food. The trans fat is the worst part, 5g a day increases your risk of heart disease by 25%. As on occasional indulgence it's not too bad.

Here in Illinois they are called "Famous Bowls".. WTF is 'famous' about them?

that's a false claim, you can't introduce something completly new and label it "famous" They do kick mucho ass though. As I am a fan of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cheese and gravy. The corn is pretty tasty too, one of the only veggies I'll eat. I bought all the shat from the grocery store to make my own bowl. And I used countrey gravy inplace of the usual brown stuff. Was dining delight! I hope they keep this sucker on the menu, cos one day it will be famous. If it dies out, I'll make my own version one day when I have kids and tell them my fold memories of what KFC inspired in me with the Famous Bowl

ha yeah I like to eat a little too much 🙂

KFC is the only fast food besides subway I can stand.

Have you tried Chipotle? It's quite good.

I don't trust that place, I will definitely say the food is pretty damn good. But how the hell do they charge the same for 3 tacos or a burrito. The tacos are good sized, but the burrito is huge with what has to be 2x the meat of 3 tacos. My friend got the burrito last time we went, and I got the tacos. NO way in hell I got an equal amount of food, even though we paid the same price 🙂 Quality seems pretty good, they push "fresh" but I have no idea how long the meats and cheeses have been sitting in the trays. Watching them make it infront of me doesn't reassure me it's fresh. I would say everyone should try it though, well as long as you like mexican food.
