KFA2.

I haven't noticed this Nvidia partner before. Perhaps they are just new to my locality. They are in there with a GTX580 alongside the usual suspects. Anyone know anything about them? Any end-user experiences?

From Hexus.net

The new-kid-on-the-block, KFA2, is most probably a name you're unfamiliar with, but all signs suggest it's a name you'll be seeing a lot more of in the months to come - particularly if you're a European consumer.

The brand, launching across the continent right about now, is for all intents and purposes the premium arm of Galaxy, a global NVIDIA partner that has been producing GeForce products for the best part of 16 years.
With established manufacturing facilities at its disposal, KFA2 is setting out to bring Galaxy's "best quality and performing products" to the European marketplace under its own label.
Speaking of which, the KFA2 acronym stands for "Kick F***in Ass ²", so there's no prizes for guessing the target demographic. And why KFA-squared? Quite simply, to avoid potential disputes with anyone else using the KFA name - and let's face it, it could have been worse, it could have been iKFA, right?
So, why should you pay attention to an unfamiliar name when you've already a long line of usual suspects to choose from? It's a little early to say for certain, but KFA2's making plenty of promises. When asked "why is KFA2 different?", the company states:

  • We produce and manufacture our own Graphics Cards
  • We only use non-reference fans and non-reference PCBs
  • Overclocked products as standard offering
  • European only brand
  • European Support Facilities
  • Backed by GALAXY who have been established since 1994
What's interesting is the support. In addition to offering a standard two-year warranty, KFA2 is backing up its GPUs with a UK-based call centre for both technical support and RMA facilities.

from their own homepage: (ive never heard of KFA2 before you mentioned it)
(why didnt you google it?)

"KFA2 is the European premium brand of Galaxy, nothing to hide, proud to be a part of it."
"KFA are a sole European focused brand, providing European based support, warehousing and RMA facilities. Our primary goal is to provide products based upon two key elements "Performance and Quality" with peace of mind, knowing that all support related services are located within Europe."
Looks like Galaxy is gonna aim higher in the european market, and try to win grounds there with this brand.

Looks like a EVGA version but for Europe...
ps. I love their name means "Kick f***ing A**"

hahahah I mean how could you not love that :)

  • We produce and manufacture our own Graphics Cards
  • We only use non-reference fans and non-reference PCBs
  • Overclocked products as standard offering
  • European only brand
  • European Support Facilities
  • Backed by GALAXY who have been established since 1994

^above all sounds good, esp the only use of non reference fans/pcbs ect.
So they ll be the high quality top of the line for nvidia cards.

Thanks, WelshBloke. Looking for any end-user experiences (if there are any yet). But being backed by big-boys Galaxy should bode well.

I'm currently using a Galaxy GTX 460, the build quality is solid, fan is a bit on the loud side though.
