Keylogger?

I clicked a link online and I'm worried it may have installed a trojan or keylogger.

The page came up blank (404 looking), and it didn't say anything was downloaded.

Do I need to download something, or would simply visiting a link be enough?

Short answer: It depends. If your on a fairly unpatched XP box, yea, just clicking the link could be enough (the zero day .ani exploit worked this way). Vista with IE7/UAC and restricted mode, no you'd be fine.

I have XP with all security updates.

Right after I clicked it I did a virus check, and spyware checks with both AdAware and Spybot.

I uninstalled WoW, and I'm reinstalling now.

What else should I try?? Is there any sure-fire way to find out if I have been infected?

It was on a forum.

I didn't notice the messages below at the time, but there were several people saying it was a keylogger. I'm sure they were just assuming, but it is a fairly prominent thing on WoW forums.

Of course the people who mentioned that it was a keylogger don't bother mentioning it until the end of their individual posts, so I never noticed until after it was too late.

run a sniffer to watch the traffic going to/from your computer and look for any traffic that shouldn't be there
keyloggers will usually communicate back to their owners by some means of notification ie: email, irc, etc.

If you're worried about something running on your machine that shouldn't, run HiJackThis, and post it here or at http://www.antisource.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=51

Yeah, can the OP please edit that link? Some people on here are at work, and it would suck to get pwned like that!

Or a mod just fix it or something?
