Keychain Spycam attached to rear bumper

Got another one of these things and it has much better video than my first one. Took it out taped to the rear bumper this evening and here are some clips:

Exhaust is pretty loud, but the cam is making it sound very loud indeed at full throttle. Obviously sound quality is better in real life... 😀

Yeah was kind of mind warping seeing a rear-view on the wrong side of the road. Maybe if we could play it in reverse?

I think you might of also missed the 20 "SLOW" markers stenciled on the road that you passed, for future reference. :awe:

The camera is one of these:

You find them on ebay and they are VERY cheap. I picked up this one for £15 and it came with a 4Gb mSD card.

This one is what is known as a #8, an EKEN unit. They all look the same but the guts vary wildly. My other one is a #4 and has better sound, but much worse video.
 
Some ebay auctions say what type they are, others do not and then it's just suck it and see. At a starting price of ~$8 it's not that big a deal as they all work, just some better than others.
 
in for a #8 and a 8gb mini card for like 40 bucks total.

really need to just ge ta playsport but this will be fun too
 
I want to do this just so I can hear what's going on back there, I can hardly hear my exhaust 99% of the time.

That was part of the reason I made this footage. The baffles are going if not gone and I can certainly hear my exhaust with the windows down. It great, but I wanted to get a taste. The footage is good but the recording could be better. I'm going to try different wind blocks on it to see what I can get out of it.

It's a combination of factors. Firstly the 'camera' is very cheap. Secondly it has no wind buffeting protection on it's mic. Third, the mic is poor anyway. Four, the exhaust is loud and they all sound raspy.

I don't need you to like it, so everyones happy. 😀
 
Nothing for nothing, but with all those SLOW markings and apparently in a residential area, that was pretty much the asshat place to do this kind of driving.

Calling out utter disregard for others is hardly being a troll...I seem to recall you whining at my HIGHWAY antics a few times, yet you are going to go all balls out driving through not only a residential area, but one with SLOW painted across the traffic lane every few yards.


I am all for having fun behind the wheel, but not places with driveways attached to it and more than likely kids and pets.

Before I wrote 'troll' I had a post laying into you for not knowing any of the speed limits on those roads, or anything about them in general, or the speed I'm actually doing or that in speed restricted areas you can clearly see I'm moderating my speed to suit.

You still don't know that, you'll never accept it because you're just trolling. You're an epic troll on AT in general and pretty much every regular poster here knows it. Knock it off.
