Keyboards wont start aftera re-boot, needs re-install ?!?!

i installed DVD2SVCD and it really played with my system, so unistalled that

it mucked with my Daemon tools, but fixed that.

but my keyboard wont work on a re-boot.

its listed as working properly, but says it cant start
its gets the yellow '!' in dvice manager

the only way to get workign again is to unistall and re-install it,
tried re-booting after unistalling it but doesnt help for the next re-boot.

anyway of wiping it out of the registry or something,

really lost on this one guys

Check the error again in your device manager too see what excatly the problem is and try and use Windows Help/trouble shooting guide to help you , failing that you could always try using the MS knowledge base .

yeah i ran through the trouble shooter. but no good.
i think its error code 10 from memory,
i will have to boot again to find out.

i am going through the knowledge base,
so far no luck though.
i might try posting in the hardware forums.

i had something sorta like this happen to my server.
it couldnt file share,
one of those things where it was acting uninstalled, but it was,
all mixed up,

the only thing to fix it was a "repair" install,
i might give that ago
