I have a Dell keyboard (at work) with a bunch of little buttons along the top edge, a set of buttons marked with audio-player icons, and a little knob.
I use emacs on Linux (Redhat 9), and I'd like to get emacs to recognize the keys, but I have no idea how to make the keys known.
This might be an emacs question, or a Linux, X, or hardware-config question -- I dunno.
Is there something I can read to learn what goes on between the keyboard and a running application?
Regards, Bob
