Ok, stupid question time..
My roomate just put together his new A64 system.. specs aren't really important but it is has a Soltek K8AN-RL motherboard.
I couldn't figure out why it wasn't booting up, it wouldn't even give an error beep. Well, it turns out he had switched the PSU from 110v to 220v and that was the only thing keeping it from booting..
Ok, here is the stupid question, would turning on the computer with the PSU set to 220v damage anything in the system? Because now that it will POST we can't get the keyboard to work in the BIOS. It recognizes the keyboard when the delete key is pushed but once inside the BIOS nothing responds..
We have tried 5 different keyboards in the apartment..so at the very least it is not just a broken keyboard.
Thanks for your help. 😛
