Hey all --
This may be random. My favorite keyboard ever (in terms of tactile feel) was the original AnyKey keyboard from Gateway 2000.
I'm getting really tired of crappy membrane / rubber dome keyboards and was about to purchase a mechanical keyboard -- but I'm not sure what I want in terms of switch type (except that I don't want MX Blues), and apparently there are very few places to actually try a keyboard out before you by them (best buy has crap).
So -- if I have to take the plunge without trying a keyboard out -- anyone remember the great feel of that AnyKey keyboard, and can anyone recommend the most similar keyboard manufactured today in terms of tactile feel that they know of? (The AnyKey used Maxi-Switches -- but I don't believe any keyboards are made with them today).
Thanks for entertaining my random question.
