keyboard stops working after post and cannot install xp

it works at first... then it wont work when it says "press any key to boot from cd" then it goes into windows and the keyboard works.. wtf?

check BIOS settings for usb keyboard...other than that not sure

Are you using a usb keyboard? Windows setup program does not have usb keyboard driver. You have to use a classic ps/2 keyboard.
