Keyboard Shoot-out

Lifer
I'm looking to get a new keyboard because for some reason the keys on my current keyboard (MSFT Natural Multimedia Keyboard) are starting to stick and it's driving me nuts. I've cleaned the keyboard about a month ago and I'm not sure if I just started noticing it now or what, but I need something new.

Anyway, I'm looking at two keyboards. One being from Microsoft and the other from Logitech. Both seem to be very decent and closely priced. Which one would you choose?

Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard

Logitech Elite Keyboard

I'm using my keyboard for web surfing, music, and gaming. Thought either of these two would suit me the best. Just want to see which one you think is better.

I would go with either. Keyboards are all the same to me. I did not buy either because I dont like the F-lock function but both are real good keyboard.

I have the Elite, but that new Microsoft one is damn sexy.
The wrist rest = bliss!
It feels like leather (though it's not).

I think i am gonna have to say the Microsoft.

Edit: Is this the one you mean?
If so, that gets my vote.

yeah! that's the one I was thinking of. Found it on ZipZoomFly last night, and thought the one on Newegg looked a little different today.

thanks

Personally I would go with either MS Natural Elite Pro or a Logitech DiNovo. I had been using the MS Pro since whenever it came out and love them. Small footprint and none of the extra keys I don't like. I just got a DiNovo and I like it for a lot of the same reasons. It does have some great extra butons though. I think both the MS and Logitech you are looking at are too clunky for my tastes. So if it were me I would see it as two choices =

Budget keyboard = MS Natural Elite Pro

ant to spend more (quite abit more) = Logitech Dinovo

But keyboards are a personally preference though so what looks clunky to me looks great to some people. Best of luck on our choice whatever you go with.

Chose the Microsoft....looks nice and the warranty can't be beat.

I just realized that there are two types...the Pro, & the non-Pro.

The one you linked to from Newegg is the non-Pro; the one i linked to was the Pro...not sure what's different.

Anyway, good luck!

i have the elite. had it for a few weeks and like it very much. got it for $25 from amazon shipped. i like all the i-touch buttons that can all be programmed to different websites or programs. the f-lock is a bit annoying but i can live with it.

You know what I hate? The overwrite button. It's so pointless and there's no way to know whether you have it on or not. So stupid.
