Keyboard died after only a year. Need a new one. I do some gaming but I just want one that won't break and has a decent key layout.

Looked at the Saitek Eclipse. That any good?
 
I have an Eclipse and I like it. I bought it when it was on sale at Newegg. (I have the Eclipse 1, not the Eclipse 2.) The illumination feature is very handy in my room.

I like the layout and the feel of it, but that's very much a matter of personal taste, so if you have a chance to try one before you buy it, that's always a good idea with keyboards.
