Keyboard problem - still no one can solve this *Update*

When testing it in another location, try to place it on another circuit.. As I think about this more it could be something wrong with your electrical. I have ran accross bad outlets before that stumped alot of technicians before I arrived. (not to sound like I'm some kind of tech god or anything though) Often tho such electrical problems can be apparent in a monitor's display, at least IME...but maybe it's not severe enough for that..

Damn, you know how to pick the hard ones don't you? 😉
 
Ok so far after changing the surge protector to another one,i've had no keyboard lockups as of yet.
its been around 4 or 5 days now since i've changed it.
hopefully thats what the problem was.

if it happens to lockup again,i'll do as a couple of you said and move the PC to another location.

Ok i had the problem again tonight for some reason.

heres what i was doing around the time the keyboard quit working:

hooking Laptop up to my LAN:

using my FDD to copy files: (this FDD don't seem to be working right now)

after i copied the files to a floppy (Laptops NIC drivers - had to use another PC to copy to FDD since mine don't seem to be working now) and installed the Laptops NIC,and connected the Laptop to my Router, i then moved over to my PC and tried to type in notepad.
and my keyboard wouldn't work.i retarted Computer and still wouldn't work.
i then Shutdown Computer and fired it back up and the keyboard is working fine since then.

and chance maybe the FDD is causing this?
keyboard has been working fine in everything till i tried to use the FDD tonight.
i used the FDD the other day and it worked fine,but tonight the FDD quit working right and then my keyboard quits working.
