Keyboard not working in DOS mode?

When I restart my computer in DOS mode, I can't type anything. It works fine otherwise. Reinstalled Software, checked connections. It's a Microsoft Intellitype Internet Keyboard, with a double connector, USB and regular. I need to get into DOS to delete temp files, cookies, history, as I'm having a problem with low resources when I don't clear it out every month or so. Any help appreciated.

Might find a setting in the bios for USB DOS support (enable) otherwise use a PS2 keyboard to do what you need...
