Keyboard/mouse switch without video?

I'm searching for a switch that would allow me to use the same keyboard and mouse with 2 computers, but without a video switch to boost up the cost. Does anybody know if such a thing is manufactured? I seem to have no difficulty locating KVM switchs, but take out that V and it seems like nobody's making them. Am I searching for the wrong thing, or does this really not exist?

Perhaps you could find a USB switcher and just use a USB keyboard and mouse. Just a thought,
it obviously depends on your situation.
