Keyboard/Mouse Combo Recommendation

I'm looking to get a new Keyboard Mouse combo, but I'm not sure which is better. I'm currently looking at the Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 700 or the Logitech Cordless MX Duo.

I originally was looking at the MX Duo, but recently when the LX 700 came out, I was not sure which way to go. I currently have the elite duo and the mouse with that goes through batteries like water. I will be demoting the elite combo to my backup pc and be replacing it with either the LX or MX.

I'm even considering the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3100 if it is as good as it looks.

Thanks in advance

Do the mouse with the LX 700 have 400dpi or 800dpi? On Logitech site it says 800dpi, but some post here say it's 400dpi

What did you end up doing? I'm in the EXACT same predicament as you; I have the Cordless Duo Elite and it's startin to act up. My mouse died a few months ago. I've been going back and forth between the MX Duo and the LX700 since they appear to be the same price, with the only downfall being that the MX Duo is a refub (off ebay). I've also heard the LX700 has a few lag problems, but I dunno if people are just exaggerating or if it's really a serious problem.

What did you end up doing???
