Anyone done this? If not Im going to do something (dont ask me what yet, that would require too much thinking)
 
Yes. I had a keyboard in which the S and Y keys didn't work.

I did the "wall mod" on it.
 
most i've done was replace the green LEDs for the Scroll Lock, Caps Lock, & Num Lock with some blue ones to match the rest of my comp.
 
I saw a keyboard mod somewhere. can't really remember where , but they spliced the main wires in the keyboard to power Leds under the keys
