Question Keyboard issue

Hello,

I have 2 Microsoft Ergo 4000 keyboards. One of them has an issue with a key, the main Enter key, hasn't worked in a while. The Enter key on the keypad works. Today I cleaned both keyboards and tried to fix the issue. I swapped all components between the keyboards and the issue seems to be with the 3 layared PCB foil.

I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol, same issue. I can't tell if it's damaged or not.

I've attached two pictures with the foil, red square is where the Enter key is hitting.

Anything else I can do?

Try this on both the meal contact point on the board and the "carbon button" or whatever on the back of the Enter key that makes contact. Use a common pink pencil eraser to "erase" the surface. The eraser is a very gentle abrasive that may clean off any loose dirt to get it working again.
