Keyboard: Is there one like a laptop keyboard?

My dell quietkey keyboard is getting old. I've already replaced it's innards. The keys and the top cover of the keyboard are the same, but everything else is from a slighter newer quietkey kb. Think it's time for a new keyboard.

For my next keyboard, I'd love to have a keyboard similar to a laptop keyboard. Anybody know if any company makes a keyboard like that?

edit: Don't want a Mini-Thin keyboard with 85keys. Prefer a full 104keys...

This one is kind of ugly, but it has the full 104 keys and is smaller than the regular keyboard. :p

This keyboard from Cyberguys looks the closest to what you're looking for. It is item 1380155. It has the 10 keypad embedded into the keyboard, just like on the laptops. There are a few others on that website as well, but they're 88-89 keys.

Hope this helps.

Yes, that cyberresearch keyboard is ugly. :Q The keyboard from the cyberguys is the closest I've come on my search, but it's not close enough.

The keyboard would preferable have:
1. thin/slim thickness
2. decent/normal size
3. light keys with shallow depth, doesn't press down as far as a desktop keyboard
4. low profile keys (laptop keys)
5. 104 keys, in the same configuration as a desktop keyboard

Hate to say it, but most people do not like the shallow throw of a laptop keyboard (which is one reason that IBM's longer throw ThinkPad keyboards are widely considered to be the best among laptops). The majority of desktop keyboards are built for a longer and more positive throw than on a laptop keyboard. When I first read the title, I thought you were talking about a keyboard with an integrated tracking device ("eraser nub"), which is available through IBM if you have well over $150 to throw away on a keyboard. If you want the link to the IBM keyboard I can find it for you, but otherwise I think you're just going to have to go exploring for a keyboard that comes close to what you want.
