Keyboard in XP - Please look! & Help!

Ok, I have Partition Magic 7.0 and i wanted to reconvert my computer back to FAT32 from NTFS because it was slowing my computer down. The transition for FAT32 to NTFS was fine but now when I tried to convert it back it says that the clusters are spread out too much or something like that. Well anyways, so fine, then I'll guess I'll just leave it to NTFS, ok, but now my keyboard isn't powered~I know this because the Num Lock light will not light up when I press it. And I have to press any key to continue to Windows!!
So does anyone have any suggestions??
it's windows xp, motherboard was before year 2000...maybe 1999, but before 1997...pent. III
is it the motherboard??

ANY SUGGESTIONS! 🙂

Two things:

1. Move to General Hardware, this doesn't belong here.

2. Can you access your CMOS setup when it's booting (requires pressing a key on the keyboard)? If so, then there's a driver problem in Windows. If not, then the keyboard or PS/2 port is probably dead.
