This deal had been posted ealier but was locked because the dealer posted, but I ordered two of these and they are very, very nice. Quiet to type on and the entire unit has good heft and a solid feel. Products seem to be brand new. Shipping for both was $7.40 for UPS ground which seems quite fair considering the weight of these units. I would recommend these to anyone with a discerning taste who doesn't need a lot of extra buttons or gadgets to be happy. Here's the link:

Does IBM make quality keyboards? I need an internet keyboard, ergo, quiet key. This one does not even fall under one.

IBM actually makes one of the best keyboards out there. Back in the 80s, when there was like really only a few manufacturers for keyboards such as Keytronic, etc etc.., IBM was hands down the best in quality. However they have not decided to play the game that is going on now, with all these multimedia functions, ergonomic forms, and whatnot that keyboards come with nowadays, but they still make some excellent keyboards.

These keyboards come with the Netvista servers and a lot of other IBM products as well. I gave my father my Natural Elite because I found another one of these...

Nice deal. I am defnitely picking one of these puppies up. It's almost that same price as this crappy and loud generic keyboard I'm using right now.

I don't like the shipping charges here...they charge you a lot for a few items and less for more. Also, their shopping cart is totally screwy...it doesn't add certain items after you've added something else. Ex: I'm trying to get the keyboard and the remote, but it would recognize that I'm trying to add both...it will only show that I have one item in my basket.

nice, although personally i can't stand anything other than a 101key kb. as a matter of fact, i have an old 1984 101key kb made by lexmark for ibm. really quiet typing. now i just need to build a new computer for it...

SPEC

I couldn't find any black ergo keyboards (this was about 4 months ago) when I looked. And I looked hard and long for one. The closest one was one made by Logitech but most of the keyboard was beige/grey except for the top shortcut buttons section and the wristpad. This is the best I have found yet.

Those remote controls look pretty cool too. Has anyone tried one of these? Are the drivers easy to find on the web? 7.95 is a pretty good deal for them remotes...

Umm, I guess by Ergo keyboards you mean that goofy natural touch keyboard from microsoft. I don't think anyone makes an ergo black keyboard.

Scrounger isn't kidding about the weight of these--nothing cheaply made here.
When mine arrived (4 kb + 3 remotes) I thought it was a different order b/c of the weight.

WARNING: This site is NOT secure! The page where they ask for credit card information is NOT SSL (no https:// OR locked lock icon)! I don't think this is a frames issue either. Be VERY careful giving your credit card info over insecure links! Cool keyboard deal, very poor website!

UPDATE: I called them and they indicated that they just changed servers and SSL is NOT yet implemented. If you want to order (I did), you can call them at (607)693-1779. Well worth the long distance charge to keep your credit card data secure!

I contacted them about this last year, and they gave a similar excuse.

So call them to order (and give them sh!t about non-secure system).

I just ordered one keyboard for 9.95 + 6 something for shipping, for a total of ~$16.50, but when I completed my order it said I had ordered two keyboard for a total of 19.90! Just got the confirmation email, saying two keyboards for 19.90 + $0 shipping! I don't think I'll email them back to complain about my order being wrong:)
I'll pay the three dollars extra for another keyboard.

Well, if there's any justice regarding their so-called server problems, then JBark you just proved it.

How long is the cord on this one. I had purchased another black keyboard but the cord was too short for my purposes.

I am going to order one but would like to possible get some other stuff from the site to save on shipping. Does anyone else have the problem whenever you click on any product you go back to the categoty menu?

Thanks
Garrett.
