Keyboard glitches

There may just be something wrong with the board itself, but I figured Id try to ask.

It seems to have problems in certain apps where it will periodically auto-shift non text typing functions. This can make playing games an espically big chore. It's a microsoft wireless mulimedia keyboard.

Have you tried replacing the batteries?

If you plug in a regular keyboard does problem go away?
