I've started to use my ipad alot more for general typing since my netbook died so I'm now looking at a keyboard for it.
Either with or without a case. I currently have an Apple smartcover attached.

What do people recommend? I'd like to keep it lightweight for travelling and be easy to use in any orientation e.g. watching videos.
I'm mostly erring towards the Apple bluetooth keyboard really, but just want to see what's out there.

You missed a great deal over the weekend. I picked up a Zagg / Logitech keyboard case for $25 shipped to try out. They're well received, and I have seen them going for around $40 on ebay for the ipad 2 models so it's worth checking out.

The pluses on it are that it's designed to lock closed like a netbook for portability without the encumbrance of a big folio keyboard case, and you can set it in portrait/landscape mode easily (it's supposed to grip it enough to hold the thing upside down with the iPad in it.)

This is all said having not used mine yet, but it looks like one of the better options out there. It should work great as a stand for laying down and watching videos too. I'm anxious to give it a test run when it arrives.
