Keyboard: flat or raised?

Most keyboards have tabs that which can raise the part of the keyboard that is away form the user. Some say that raising the keyboard is more comfortable and better for the wrists. Others say the slant is bad. They say the arm and the wrist should be straight, and a flat keyboard aligns the writ more straightly, and a slant in the ?opposite direction? offered on keyboards would actually be more egomaniacal.

Just wondering what the thoughts were on this forum. Thanks!

depends. I'm on my mom's dell right now, which has a basic black dell keyboard, and I like it raised, but I like my microsoft ergonomic keyboard flat - the shape is just right flat. I guess it depends on the shape of the keyboard for me.

I much prefer raised, but it all depends on your style of keyboard, and how low your chair is compared to your desk too.

flat. I usually keep my keyboard on my lap... those tabs on the bottom kinda hurt if they're extended.
