Edit: Turned out my CMOS battery was dead. I plugged a new one in and my computer started up in safe mode because of a checksum error. It rediscovered all of the peripheral hardware. Then I rebooted and all was well.

I'm sure glad I keep a half dozen of the 2032 batteries in my spare battery box. They go into everything from watches to...well Mobos.

Hope this helps someone else.

I turned on my PC this morning and got a "Keyboard error or no keyboard present" error.

I have tried two different keyboards in several different USB ports and the PS2 port with the same result.

Is my Mobo done?
