keyboard error-no post Aopen AX6BC

I have an Aopen AX6BC and canT get to post. New install, used parts ,tried resetting cmos. Finds mem,proc,hd,cdrom and then says-
"Keyboard error or no key board present CMOS checksum error-Defaults loaded"
Left cmos clear jumper on 30 mins power supply unpluged from board .Tried another (this) keyboard still same.
Any help/suggestions to try appreciated.
