Keyboard doing odd things..

It might not be related to anything, but i spilled coffee on it earlier. when i thought it was dried out i plugged it back in and it seemed to be working fine. now though whenever i hit the shift key to make a capital letter it does something funky. if i hit the left one it brings up the search box for your pc, if i hit the right one it brings up outlook express. anyone have any ideas, i miss my capital letters

just press caps lock on and off when you need capitals

I've disassembled and cleaned keyboards lots of times. If you are handy with gadgets it is easy. If you're not comfortable doing that, buying a new one is cheaper than paying a tech to do the cleaning. Of course, you could always just try to clean, knowing that in the worst case Plan B is buying a new one, anyway.
