Keyboard doesn't work during WinXP install

I recently replaced my motherboard because my previous one fried. I picked up the Shuttle AN35N-Ultra. I used this motherboard with no problems for about 4-5 weeks, until I noticed my computer started freezing up on me for no reason. I decided it was time for me to reformat anyway, so I decided to take this chance to do so. However, when I got to the WinXP installation, my keyboard wouldn't work. The keyboard works at the point where the computer says "press any key to boot from CD..." After that, when the installation process gets to "Press Enter to install, F3 to quit, blah blah." my keyboard stops responding. Any ideas why this happens?

Are you using a usb keyboard? If so, try a PS/2 one, that helped me when installing XP a few weeks ago, and I couldn't hit F-6 to install drivers.
