Subject: USB Mouse and the USB keyboard are not working properly when connected via the KVM-switch box.
Motherboard: Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Bios revision 1011
KVM-switch box: Aten CS-1764 (4-port DVI + USB KVM)
Operating system: Windows XP (Servicepack 2)
Keyboard: Microsoft Digital Media Pro (USB)
Mouse: Logitech MX1000 (USB)
I have connect my keyboard and mouse to the KVM-switch box. Every time I move the mouse or type with the keyboard, there is strange kind of delay with ASUS motherboard based PC. But when I am entering the Asus bios setup, keyboard seems to be ok. With my other computers (Apple G5 dual 1,8 GHz and Acer Travelmate 800LCi) the mouse and the keyboard are working fine when connected via the KVM. Without the KVM box both the mouse and the keyboard are working fine also with the Asus motherboard. What is the cause of the delay, when the keyboard and the mouse are connected via the KVM?
