Keyboard covers for MacBook Pro

I just bought a new MacBook Pro 15" retina, and I was wondering about keyboard covers. With my last MacBook, after a couple years the keys started jetting worn smooth (especially the space bar).

Are the keyboard covers worth trying? How to they feel compared to the stock keyboard for typing on ? Just wondering if there is any reason not to try one.

The ones from iSkin are amazing. Hardly interfered at all like other ones I've tried. I don't know if they make them for every Macbook model tho, so verify yours is supported.

Don't all the systems have the exact same keyboard layout these days (except the 11" Air)?

I have been reading and apparently the retina macbook pros have thinner keys or something.

I found this one that has good reviews that I might give a shot, and it says it will work with the retina models. I like the look of the iskins suggested by Kaido a bit better, but maybe I will try the cheap one from amazon first to see if I like it being on there first.

I also ordered a moshi iglaze black hardshell cover for the machine as well, hopefully between the two I can keep the keyboard looking good and keep my infant sons grubby hands from messing it up when he gets walking later in the year.

should a keyboard cover stick on like a screen protector, or should it be kind of loose for easy removal? I got it installed on my new retina macbook pro that showed up today, and the cheap one I linked to earlier doesn't move around per say - but it is not hard to grab it and peel it off either. Never used one before, so I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to fit.

Typing on it is easy enough though.
