Keyboard and mouse works during bios. I can select menu options and such but when the W7 login screen comes up, the keyboard and mouse are dead. The caps lock light doesn't turn on and the bottom of the mouse doesn't turn on either.

I'm using i5 750 with EVGA P55V micro

Do you have any more information. Like, has the keyboard and mouse ever worked in W7. What kind of keyboard and mouse? Have you tried uninstalling any driver software for them , or re-installing.

What do you mean the bottom of the mouse doesn't turn on?
Have you tried booting into safe mode to see if they work then?

Apparently the P55 has issues with USB connectivity, as evidenced by the latest BIOS updates. You list your mobo as "EVGA P55V micro".

There are three "P55 V" variants and one "P55 Micro" which, as you can see below, uses a completely different BIOS update from the P55 V mobos.

To get your USB devices working; enter the BIOS setup, enter "Advanced BIOS Features", and enter "USB Configuration".This option menu allows you to enable Legacy USB support, force USB 1.1 mode and more.

Use these options (make one change at a time, save, and reboot) to see if you can get your USB devices to load.

EVGA P55 Micro User's Guide

If USB still won't load in Windows, boot into Safe Mode. If keyboard and mouse work in Safe Mode, open Device Manager, click "View">"Devices by connection">"Show hidden devices". Uninstall all listed USB keyboards and mice. Reboot.

If you're successful, use the correct BIOS Update Link (above) and flash the BIOS. Post back with the outcome.
