Keyboard and mouse stutters/delays/lags in Win7

Hello,

As I explain here, I have a brand new and most probably cursed build. My guess is, the components were manufactured at a plant constructed on a long forgotten tomb (yes, each and every one of them :p).

Now, here's the setup:
Win7 Ultimate x64
i5 2500k on Asus P8Z68-V Pro
8 GB DDR3 RAM
MSI 6950 TwinFrozr III.
SATA on AHCI mode (using MS drivers):
OCZ Agility 3 60 GB SSD (OS) (TRIM is on)
WD 1TB Caviar Black (Games) (not connected yet, waiting for replacement)
WD 1TB Caviar Green (Dump)

I had some problems with the first install, then with the SSD and then with the WD CB (bricked it somehow).

Now, everything looks alright. Aside from a couple of glitches *grin*

I have a Logitech Mouse / KB set. I am using MS drivers for it. I know this can be the cause of the delays and stutters I experience (sometimes up to a second or two) but the thing is I did not use the Logitech drivers in my old setup either and had no problems whatsoever. Besides, stutters happen in a peculiar way. I think, whenever a write/read event happens (on the OS drive I think again) the keyboard dies for a second or two and if I don't realise it and start writing, it just puts whatever I write on the screen after it recovers (with the first letter missing making me think that the first keystroke "wakes" the keyboard).

I suspected hardware SSD or the TRIM event; kb and mouse drivers; operating system problems but just wanted to ask around if anyone has similar problems and actually saw a couple of MoBo related ones (same MoBo).

So I ask, have you experienced anything like this? Any suggestions?

Cheers!

If you did a image recovery and the system was not running right.it will not work better after.just do a clean install on one HDD.and when everything is fine start puting other stuff.and by the way do a CMOS first.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. No, I did a SE, clean install, CMOS, remove battery, the whole over nine thousand yards. I will flash the FW on OCZ again tonight or tomorrow, they have a new one available, and use Intel drivers instead of MS ones as recommended. Since I keep my games on another drive I might just do the whole thing over again hoping this time it will "take" :)

Cheers...
