My keyboard is PS2 and my mouse is USB. I'm having the following problem since yesterday:
If I boot with my mouse on PS2 (USB-to-PS2 connector), the mouse doesn't work.
If I boot with my mouse on USB, the keyboard doesn't work (WinXP user login - can't type in the password AND the loading time during the WinXP logo is huge.. the blue progress bar moves really slowly)
I tried both my keyboard and my mouse on my laptop and they do work, so I don't think the problem is there. I have re-assembled the whole computer today - no effect. Took the computer off the UPS - same thing (the only recent change to my hardware).
