Is there a shortcut key (esc brings menu for instance) to get out of a conversation quickly rather than hitting the icon at the bottom with your mouse?

I'm not playing a mage but how would you go about switching between all your spells?
Are you limited to the 1-8 hotkeys that you must share with weapon switching and potions?

Anyone seen a mod for a minimap?
Anyone seen a mod for remapping the mousewheel to spell or weapon switching?
