Key command for blank space ( ) on a Ti-89?

GAAAAAAAAH! I'm going nuts here. Even checked the manual. I want the equivalent of the space bar on a keyboard.

It's alpha (-) on mine. (to the left of the enter key if you don' t understand my (-) notation) It looks like an sideways bracket in purple on mine.

They got it. It's the blue button at the top-left part of the keys, then the "negative" button, IIRC.

It might not be the (-) button. I'm looking at an 86, not an 89. You're looking for the key with a |_| on it.
