Key combination doesn't work?

Recently something happened to my keyboard such that I can't press w and spacebar at the same time. I can press one or the other but just not together at the same time, If I do only the w key would respond. As a gamer, this is frustrating since for FPS games this means I can't run and jump at the same time. Anybody have a solution? Thanks in advance.

So w and space are the only 2 buttons you can't press at the same time? I would just get a new keyboard, its not like you can't buy one for just a few bucks.
 
Assuming you have Windows:

Start / Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device Manager / Keyboards / click on your keyboard / update driver
