writing a freakin' book or making an infomercial should NEVER be a crime. hes got to be the only person ever to go to prison for that. they had the ftc prevent him form even coming out with products, thats just ridiculous

If Edward Snowden has published the material he leaked as a book, would the US government not have gone after him then? There are already many ways in which 'publishing a book' might lead to judicial proceedings (libel, copyright violation, national security...). So to say it should NEVER be a crime implies you want a lot of laws changed.
